Trauma-Sensitive Yoga creates an understanding of how trauma can and does change the relationship with our physical body. It shows up differently for everyone and often times extends past the physical. Therefore, techniques of breath and movement are used to align clients in all areas and bring an understanding of how trauma may feel in their body. This is done safely with the use of specific types of breathing and postures tailored for each client as they move in the direction of being whole. And does not involve any physical touch nor does it need to include movement.

 In addition, our one-on-one sessions create a safe space. We work together to establish a space which provides connection to unleash vulnerability and feel protected as the process of healing begins.
